Well my course is done and now I'm back to school.1,120 km (696 miles) away from Oromocto, New Brunswick, I am now back at RMC.
The course it self was good though. I commanded a group of engineers in construction a camp and slowly built up the infrastructure. We concentrated on security, defenses and then quality of life. We built fences, tents, barriers, and a multitude of other things. The overall camp plan slowly got more and more complex and w
Now its back to the normal RMC schedule.
0600: First years wake me up with their screams of "motivation"
0601: Go back to sleep
0630: Wake up. Sh*t-Shower-Shave
0700: Manger (eat)
0720: Do any administration or tasks for the morning
0800: Classes start
1630: Classes End
1700: Chow time (dinner)
1730: Do what has to be done. Go to the gym or for a run.
2000-2359: I hopefully go to sleep within these hours
I guess it's nice to get back into the old schedule again. This year is the busiest year for me with 39 hours of class a week and 1 spare. I am also responsible for 20 other people throughout the semester. Paperwork, administration and a thesis to do. Yep, 250 days until I finally get my degree. Can't wait.

UPDATE: I just finished school a bit early today. I finally have a group and a topic for my thesis. In northern Manitoba there is a project to design a new hydroelectric generating station. Our task is to design a temporary camp and additional facilities to support the personnel who will be working on the station. It will include environmental assessments, aerial photographs, site plans, buried utility requirements, site drainage, and the list goes on. And now I have one year to create a 300+ page document on the design portion of my topic. In reality its more of a project then a thesis, but I'm not complaining. A site visit will be kind of hard seeing as I'm all the way here in Ontario, but we are getting data from the University of Manitoba and Manitoba Hydro. Fun times in Kingston.
