Well this week has probably been the toughest one in second year. I had six midterms this Wednesday to Friday and I have one more to go. The previous weekend did not contribute to my studying due to the fact that I was at the range. But I wasn't shooting. Nope, now that I am part of the FRT (First Response Team, dealing with on-the-site first aid and care) I stood around at the range pretty much doing nothing for my 12 hour shift in the freezing cold. As for my midterms, I had Canadian History and Linear Algebra on Wednesday. Engineering Graphics, Waves & Vibrations, and Engineering Calculus were on Thursday. Today had my Materials midterm, and that didn't go so well (I am kind of burnt out from studying the other five). Engineering Economics is coming up this Tuesday and I seem to do well in that class. This weekend itself looks like it is going to be quite eventful. I have
a student from the St-Jean Campus staying the night in a small army cot. It's Cohesion Weekend and Richelieu Squadron from Quebec is staying the weekend to get a feel for the campus and to participate in some sports (Richelieu Squadron is the group of cadets who are taking the preparatory year in St-Jean so that they can get the marks to enter RMC). The whole wing is also running a race called "The Wing Harrier" which about 5 km in length and circles the campus
and base. It's fun to run with 1000 other people beside you. As for both Saturday and Sunday I'll be doing my PAG (Peer Assistance Group) training for a few hours each day.Coming up next: 27 point Questionnaire from Amanda @ 'Trails'
PS: I have some funny pics from the range weekend posted up on Flickr. Check them out.
Finally getting sleep,
-Michael U.
