It's been two weeks since I came back to Kingston and one week since I started school. My classes are not that bad, but I do have a lot of assignments. I think that if I even slack off just a little, then the hordes of work will overcome me. As for everything else, it's been alright. Wearing the old uniform, polishing the shoes, ironing the pants, waking up at 0600 and sleeping at 2300. Same old, same old. I don't have internet connection in my room yet (thus, the lack of updating and interaction), but I'll be getting some soon. This I'm going to try and limit internet usage to a minimum in order to concentrate on work.
Right now I'm in "the box" (the duty room) sitting here for my four-hour shift. It's a Saturday and here I am in a 1700's uniform watching over a phone that never rings. Never. I guess that's a good thing because if it did ring, then something is probably wrong. I am part of the Flag Party tomorrow (the group that raises/lowers the flags) and then it's sports day at RMC. It's going to be interesting to finally meet the First-Years who are currently going through the month long First-Year Orientation Period (FYOP). Life for them right now is quite brutal. But then again, I was there once too.
Well, I have two hours to go until my shift is over so I going to continue reading my history book and listen to some music.
